Arbor's Edge is seeking full-time crew members to join a small, growing company serving primarily Clallam and Jefferson Counties. Ground, climber, and PHC backgrounds are welcome to apply. Must be familiar with basic pruning principles and practice. Experience with correct operation of chippers and chainsaws is required. Experience with ropes, knots, and basic rigging is preferred. This is not an entry level position, but we are willing to train the right candidate. ISA certified arborists, or those studying for ISA certification are welcome.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to learn and operate under Z133 standards. Must be interested in working on a diversity of projects throughout the year. Some months our schedule consists of nothing but technical removals, other months are filled entirely with ornamental pruning, PHC, and managing small trees. During the winter months, the bulk of our work is in managing fruit orchards.
We work 4 days on, 3 days off. Pay rates are competitive and based on experience. We offer paid training opportunities (Ascension Group workshops, local ISA workshops, etc.), and paid time off to employees after a one year probationary period.
