Requirements:
Must possess a positive can-do attitude and a passion for the industry.
Must have 1-2 years industry experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must have a desire for both personal and professional growth.
Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification.
Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather.
Must be able to lift heavy objects, and to hear verbal instructions from a distance.

Higher wages can be negotiated with the following credentials:
CDL with a clean driving record and at least 21 years of age.
ISA Tree Worker Certification
Recognized tree care industry-specific certifications

Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing truck and materials needed for a day’s work at crew leader’s direction.
Shall perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by crew leader.
Shall load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris often weighing 25lbs. or more; feed
brush into chipper.
Shall use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment.
Shall keep work area clean and orderly.
Shall carry, lay out and stow materials, tools and equipment at work site.
Will work from the ground using handsaws and pole saws.
Will drive trucks or operate other equipment as assigned.
Keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion. Report the need for repairs to truck and equipment to crew leader.
Shall safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent voice communication with workers aloft.
Shall help enforce job safety practices.
