Job description
We wish to recruit a suitably experienced and competent tree climbing arborist who will help our team’s grow in all areas of our Arboriculture services. This role, as with all roles, is to assist with the continual growth of Arbor Pride as an industry leader, Candidates should have the following:
- At least 3 years industry experience.
- Qualifications should be a minimum Cert 3 or equivalent.
- The ability to work both independently and part of a one of our team’s effectively.
- Excellent arboriculture knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, be well organized, self-motivated and have a high attention to detail.
- Friendly, honest and reliable.
- A valid full driver’s license.
- White card.
- Salary Range $28 to $30 per hour plus super depending on experience, for a 40 hour week.
Assessment and Application
Applicants will be required to demonstrate their tree climbing skills with their own equipment during a day mutually agreed upon by the Applicant and the Assessor. During this time the applicant will show their ability to climbing and cutting proficiency, they will be tested on their knowledge of Arboriculture principles. This will also provide an opportunity for the applicant to discuss details of Arbor Pride’s business and ask any questions they might have regarding the position.
