Dyson Forestry Great Mills, MD, United States
Sep 04, 2017Full time
Dyson Forestry is a small tree company located in Great Mills, MD. We are looking to hire an experienced aerial lift / bucket operator. Must have atleast some experience and familiarity with operating a lift, even if it wasnt in the trees. We own a towable spider lift, but also occasionally rent bucket trucks and boom lifts. The lift we use most often is a 56 footer, but the ones we rent go up to 100 feet in the air. This is obviously not a job for someone who does not like heights. We are not the traditional tree service so you must be willing to learn new things. Alot of our workload involves pruning, cabling, lightning protection, insect and disease treatments, and of course tree removals. Pay is negotiable depending on experience. This can be a part time or full time job. You must be atleast 18 years old. You must live in or near St. Marys County, MD. You cannot have a criminal record. We will be doing a background check before you can begin work. You must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. You also must have your own transportation to and from work. We have to drive multiple work trucks to each job site. It doesnt help me to have employees that cannot drive. You will be drug tested before you can begin work. Employees are also subject to random drug testing throughout the year. Please do not waste our time and money if you will not pass the drug test. All of our work is outdoors. We work in the rain and the snow. We work long hours in the very hot and the very cold. You will be exposed to poison ivy, snakes, spiders, etc. This job is not for someone who is allergic to bees, or afraid of mother nature. We work hard. This job is not for everyone. If the thought of hard work scares you, please pass us by. You must be physically capable of doing the work. Please contact Carl Dyson of Dyson Forestry for an application. I would prefer you email me ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) rather than call. You can also email directly from our website at www.DysonForestry.com. We do not receive txt messages.
