We have an opening for an Experienced Tree Climber . We have served North County, San Diego, for over 40 years. We want to talk to you if you are motivated, hardworking, and knowledgeable! Qualifications: Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation. *must have previous work history climbing* Transportation (to the work yard in Escondido) Driver's license with a clean driving record
Pay is based on experience. We offer p aid vacation and 401k plans.
General Job Duties:
Operate trucks, loaders, stump chippers, brush chippers, tractors, power saws, and other equipment and tools.
Climb trees using climbing hooks and belts, or climb ladders to gain access to work areas.
Evaluate tree health for the safety of climbing.
Evaluate all safety gear including harnesses, ropes, and pulleys, for safe functionality.
Clean, sharpen, and lubricate tools and equipment.
