Jan 16, 2020
Full time
We are looking to fill a Team Leader Position at Trutimber Arborists located in Richmond, VA. We are a climbing centered company that is passionate about providing the best possible arboricultural work for our clients. Our niche is climbing intensive tree care and we strive to provide a working environment that is employee focused and relevant to industry trends. This coupled with our drive to continue to learn and better ourselves is part of what makes this a unique company to join. Our Team Leaders typically oversee two other employees and carry out a myriad of tasks. We are a full service tree care operation with the exception of plant health care. Chemical application does not align with the core values of our company. We hire tree climbers. Even if they are green to the industry, they are brought into our company as a tree climber trainee and receive training through many avenues, but mostly through the direct supervision of their Team Leader.  Due to this, our Team Leaders should be competent in the ways of passing along information, good communicators, and have a desire to continue to learn themselves. ISA Certifications are a plus and ideally we would like to have someone with minimum three years experience to fulfill this role, but we also recognize that the right person for the position may not already have these certifications. What we ask is that there is a willingness to acquire them within a predetermined time frame set at the interview.  Our Professional Development path is what our pay is based upon. Graduates of our Truetimber Academy are highly skilled and certified arborists in the industry capable of most anything thrown at them. It's an intense school to graduate from, but we produce high caliber arborists because of it. We offer competitive pay for the area as well as a lot of employee benefits outside of the standard medical/dental/vision/401k type available.  Come see what wearing red is all about and join the Truetimber Family.
