This is an INTENSE 4-Day Training Program. Encompassing everything that a professional tree climber MUST know and have in order to perform at the absolute peak. Tuition includes: 4 Day Training Program with Final Assessment and Certificate of Completion CPR/First Aid Training and Certification Aerial Rescue Training and Certification Throwball Locking Carabiners Split Tail T-Shirt Optional Add-Ons available, including: On-Site, Hands-On Climbing Coaching Various Climbing Equipment REQUIRED for Training Program In order to attend the training program, participants must be actively employed in the tree care or landscaping industry OR have been involved with them in the past. Attendees must also have an ADVANCED knowledge of proper chainsaw techniques. This will NOT be taught during the training. If necessary, please attend one of our Chainsaw Training Classes in order to prepare yourself for this program. Our Hands-On Training Program was designed with Tree Care company's needs in mind. It also satisfies the skills required to test for the ISA's Tree Climber Certification. Our training is the most complete training program available. Here is everything that will be taught during the 4-Day Training Program, along with homework requirements and hands-on repetition during the program. Equipment: Proper Use, Benefits and Proper Inspections. Including, but not limited to, lanyards, saddles, carabiners, micro pulleys, split tails, prusiks, spurs, PPE and clothing. Climbing Knots & Hitches: How to tie, dress and set in all necessary applications Preparing to Climb: Thorough Tree and Site Inspections, Climbing Line Installation (with throwball), Rope Installations and efficient/effective tie-ins. CPR and First Aid Certification Team work, Communication and maintaining your health Techniques for Ascending: Bodythrust climbing, Footlock Climbing and Secured Footlocking Tree Dynamics: Special circumstances and things to know about different species Working the Tree: Limb-Walking, Positioning, Double Crotching and Safe Descent to the ground Pruning Techniques and positioning Rigging: Knots, Pulleys, notching techniques, Body & Rope positioning and Limb Control Aerial Rescue Training Removal Techniques: Limb Control, Process & Efficiency, Notches, Cuts and Felling Techniques. Plus, using spurs All program participants are required to bring the following items to the training. These items are available for purchase during checkout if participant does not already own or have access to the items.
