Job Duties :
PHC Specialist performs fertilization and integrated pest management on trees and shrubs and lawns using spray and injection tools. Customer service is a key element of the position, as well as routing, product mixing and application. Tree and shrub ID, Pathology, and knowledge of tree physiology are valuable but not required, we will train.
Two or Four year degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture or related discipline a plus
Ability to identify local tree species and knowledge of growth rates
ISA Certified Arborist a plus as is related past experience.
Excellent communication skills
Specific task training provided
Leadership experience and a desire for career growth will be given a priority
Valid driver’s license
Certified applicators license a plus where applicable
Class B CDL-Air a plus or we will train

Ongoing Training & Credentialing
The Climber directly assist Foreman in daily tree care operations. Climb and cleanup work.
Climb and prune trees using rope and saddle.
Prune and/or remove large trees.
Cut, chip and load brush and wood.
Control lowering ropes and supply tools for other Trimmers and Foreman.
Follow all safety rules and regulations of Cagwin & Dorward. Understand and perform first aid, CPR and aerial rescue procedures. React responsibly in emergency situations.
Drive tree care equipment, aerial lift, spray truck and tow chipper. Maintain, prepare and use tools and equipment.
Provide quality customer service and proper job site cleanup.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in tree trimming or related formal education.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations.
Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees and management.

Must possess a valid California driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.
At least 1 year of verifiable work experience.
Must be physically able to work in the year-around outdoor enviroment perfoming manual labor.
Must be legal to work in the US without sponsorship.
Possess the ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Monster Tree Service

A Sales Arborist at Monster Tree Service is responsible for achieving budgeted sales goals for his or her territory. This is done through constant communication and daily in-person appointments with customers and potential customers. Our sales arborist must also communicate with the office manager in regard to daily scheduling, estimates, customers who have been quoted and service scheduled. This position reports directly to the owner of Monster Tree Service.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Build and implement a Territory Sales Plan for his/her Territory in conjunction with Franchise Owner
Create on-site estimates and review scope of work with the customer.
Actively pursue the customer commitment to scheduling the work and paying a deposit.
Communicate any additional service necessary on trees, shrubs and foliage to the customer.
Review neighboring properties for work opportunities.
Communicate to neighbors capabilities of the crew and engage them in work they may need done.
Maintain communication with the Office Manager about estimates scheduled, completed and work that has been sold.
Utilize sales process tools, software and other technologies to streamline the process for the customer.
Attend home shows and other opportunities to demonstrate Monster Tree Service capabilities.
Maintain arborist certification through continuing education credits Education/Experience Requirements.
Minimum of ISA Certified Arborist/Masters Certification preferred but willing to discuss based on experience.
Minimum of 2 years sales experience
Up to 95% travel required by car. Company car will be provided
